Item Details:
- Tweco® 11 Series Standard Duty Brass Gas Diffuser is perfect for use with slip-on nozzle assemblies with 250 A Tweco® Spray Master® MIG gun series as well as eliminator front-end consumables. Gas diffuser has magnificent electrical properties making it ideal for use in light to medium duty standard welding application up to 250 A. It features part number rolled stamped on the external surface and overall length for easy identification. 1.92" Gas diffuser with M11 x 1.5 - 6g thread size has four 0.094" gas holes. Gas diffuser is made from 360-brass alloy bar stock offers consistent dimensional stability. It has a proper threaded size conductor tube to be used with MIG guns. It features a metal ring design that accommodates the slip-on style nozzle in place during the welding process. Gas diffuser is sold as 5 per pack.
Features:
- Easy identification - part no rolled stamped on the outside surface
- Designed to be used with slip-on nozzle assemblies
- Machined from 360 brass alloy bar stock to ensure consistent dimensional stability
- The gas diffuser has a metal ring that is used and hold the Slip-on style nozzle in place during the welding process
- Recessed Tips are generally used for higher heat applications where longer electrical stick-out is required, or in cases where the nozzle may touch the work piece (tack, spot, and stitch)
- Flush Tips are generally used where a shorter electrical stick-out is used sometimes resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths, this brings the tip closer to the work piece
- Protruding Tips are generally used when welding open root pipe or any joint that requires the welder to get into a tight weld joint
- However the down side to this is the chance of arcing the tip to the work piece, which could damage front end parts resulting in downtime needed to replace
- M11 x 1.5-6G Male threaded
Applications:
- Used in light to medium duty welding application up to 250 Amp
