With spring latches GN 722.1, the locking pin is retracted via the curve of the guide by a 180° rotation of the latch. The locking notch at the upper end of the curve causes the latch to be held if the locking pin is not to protrude at times. The dimensional tolerances between bolt and guide are selected so that functional safety is ensured even after welding, applying a corrosion protection layer or in case of dirt.
